BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – In a show that will span her entire recording career, Bette Midler Thursday announced her first national concert tour in 10 years.

The red-haired “Divine Miss M” said she will begin the tour with an unprecedented four-week engagement at Radio City Music Hall in New York in the fall.

“It’s going to be thrilling to play live again,” she said at a Beverly Hills news conference. Midler, who last performed live at Radio City in 1983, said it was time to do her “own stuff” again.

“I’ve been pushed around by directors for 10 years,” she said. “What comes out of my mouth will be my own expression.”

The show will feature songs from her recording career including “Wind Beneath My Wings,” “From a Distance,” “The Rose” and “Do You Want to Dance.”
