Q. — I hope Bette Midler gets her own TV show. She’s the Judy Garland of the 1970s and her TV special was the best one since Barbra Streisand‘s My Name is Barbra. — R.B.

A. — Bette isn’t scheduled for TV series duty but she will more than likely star in specials from time to time. Bette, busy with nightclub and personal appearances, is also scheduled to star in her first big movie, The Rose.
