Budd Friedman, the founder and original proprietor of the famous Improv Comedy Clubs in New York and Los Angeles, sits down with host Michael Ferrari for an exclusive interview today, Jan. 13 with ACTORS REPORTER (http://www.actorsentertainment.com) which is part of Actors Podcast Network.

Friedman, a longtime friend of established Hollywood stars as well as up-and-coming personalities, was instrumental in launching the comedy careers of such superstars as Rodney Dangerfield, Richard Lewis, Robert Klein, Jay Leno, Andy Kaufman, Freddie Prinze, Steve Landesberg and Jimmie Walker to name a few. For a brief time, Friedman served as personal manager to singer/performer Bette Midler during the early stages of her career. It was Friedman’s guidance that helped Midler first appear on “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.”
