Mister D: Wow, these people have ALWAYS enjoyed Ms. Midler, and yet somehow they’ve missed her insults of Republicans over the last 8-9 years???? I don’t think so. We were lucky enough to recently get tickets in Las Vegas to see Bette Midler, an entertainer we have always enjoyed. During the show, Midler took the opportunity to say very nasty things about Rush Limbaugh, Dick Cheney and Sarah Palin – twice.
The comments and name-calling were totally out of context, were not related to the show and left us with a greatly diminished opinion of Midler.
Why is it that liberals, particularly the Hollywood elitists, use every public venue to spout their vitriol and hate about people with whom they disagree? – Terry G., Scottsdale

oooooh, some very disappointed audience members…….please as if they don’t know what she is like and she has certainly not hidden the fact that she can’t stand Sarah Palin, she has said it loads of times before.

Republicans make me sick to my stomach anyways. lol. People need to grow a sense of humor and most of the ones who go back and say something dont take the time to read up on the facts that what the other person is saying are true. Gosh i hate stupid people.

I didn’t really agree with the jokes that were said at the show, but I found them hillarious and I don’t care what political party Bette is. I don’t think that she really meannt everything that she was saying in the jokes….. that’s why they are called “jokes”!!!
I’ve been to some concerts where you can tell the performers are right wing and I’m mature enough to not let it bother me. Sometimes I find it even funny all the wrong information their espousing….I don’t understand why people get so upset unless they follow some charasmatic oaf who tells them they should be upset…puppets on a string….usually they espouse the same ole same ole…
