MAYOR BLOOMBERG and Christy Ferrer are throwing a party on July 14 at the Rainbow Room. This is a fete to thank the celebs who have appeared on Christy’s Applevision; these TV bites (which hit airports and hotel rooms) help support the glories of NYC. Bette Midler, Barbara Walters, Katie Couric and Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg will be among those on hand.
Bloomberg is also offering a festive barbecue to those on the board of his Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City. It happens at Gracie Mansion on July 21. Funny, the mayor doesn’t seem like a barbecue kind of guy. Can’t wait to see him at the grill.
