From The Mandy Moore Bloggers

Mandy Moore‘s idol, Bette Midler, capped a major milestone tonight as she completed a two year run in The Showgirl Must Go On at Caesar’s Palace.

Concluding a remarkable journey that began in 2008, Midler’s departure marks the end of one of Vegas’s most popular song-and-dance shows. Wowing audiences with her unique brand of fishnets and feathers, Midler appeared in 180 consecutive shows and generated more than $65 million in ticket sales.

Appearing in front of an estimated 750,000 fans, the Divine Miss M leaves on top of her game. Over the course of her run, fans included Tony Bennett, Taye Diggs, Dita von Teese, Pink, Yoko Ono, and of course, Mandy Moore! Read More
