Line-up just announced for the Royal Variety Performance 2009!

The Opera House Theatre, in Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, will host the 81st Royal Variety Performance, on Monday 7th December, 2009. The Performance, presented annually in aid of the Entertainment Artistes’ Benevolent Fund (the EABF), will be the first time that the Royal Variety has been staged in Blackpool since 1955. Blackpool Council has kindly agreed to display the famous Blackpool Illuminations, along the route of the Royal party, on the night of December 7th.

Award-winning comedian, Peter Kay, will host the show which promises to be an unforgettable evening. Peter says, “It’s an honour and a privilege to be asked to host the Royal Variety, but even more of a delight to host it in Blackpool. “

To be honest I’m more interested in Whoopi’s performance than anything else. But Bette’s duet will be cool too.

Im sorry, but I just have to say, that I really do not care at all for Miley Cyrus. Her name is the only one here that bugs me out of this list. Why is she on it? There is just something about her that I can not stand. She had better be on her best behavior for the Queen, but from what I’ve seen about her, I don’t think she will be.
