I was just contacted by Ms. Johnstone’s people about her new CD, “On A Good Day.” They are running a contest for people to enter to win a copy of this fabu CD. If any of you bought her last CD, “Coming of Age,” this one is just as good or better.
Ms. Johnstone is a singer/songwriter and has penned several songs for Bette with one making it onto “Some People’s Lives,” entitled “The Girl Is On To You.” Ms. Johnstone also sang the harmony vocals for Bette on “No Frill’s”, “My Eye On You.” So, you see, they’ve had a long history.
This CD also has an illustrious guest list: Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Buddy and Julie Miller, and Rodney Crowell.
